Benjamin Charles Harper, born on October 28, 1969, is a renowned American musician known for his songwriting and prowess in playing multiple instruments. He showcases a diverse blend of blues, folk, soul, reggae, and rock genres. Renowned for his guitar expertise, voice, captivating live shows, and activism, Harper has unveiled twelve studio albums, predominantly with Virgin Records, and has performed on international stages.
A recipient of three Grammy Awards and nominated seven times, Harper was honored with the Best Pop Instrumental Performance and Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album in 2004, and the Best Blues Album in 2013.
